Lauren Thomas develops and executes social media strategies for billion dollar brands.
A digital marketing strategist with 7+ years of experience, Lauren helps clients increase brand awareness, generate leads and drive sales through social media and other digital marketing channels. Lauren has worked with a variety of businesses, ranging from mom and pop shops to Fortune 500 companies including AT&T, The Coca-Cola Company and Macy’s. She currently leads national social media for Cricket Wireless.
Lauren has spoken at industry events, including: IZEAFest, Atlanta Food Blog Forum, BarkWorld Expo, SouthWiRED, Garden Bloggers Conference and Social Media Club Atlanta. She also served as a conference curator and panel moderator for the inaugural Women Interactive Creative Technology Festival hosted at Spelman College.
Lauren is the Founder and Host of Digital Diversity, a web series highlighting people of color who are making an impact in new media and technology. She has also been featured in 28 Days of Diversity, an online series highlighting people of color impacting the social web.
Lauren has travelled extensively and lived in five different countries, including Ecuador and Egypt. She uses social media to remain connected with friends and followers around the world.
